TechnoCampus Berlin

With an eye to the future — working in a modern campus atmosphere

Campus

Historical and innovative: Networked and industrious at the TechnoCampus Berlin

Historical brick and modern architecture. That will be the new face of the TechnoCampus Berlin from 2022. The listed brick building, built between 1924 and 1941 as the centrepiece of the Siemensstadt district, is currently being expanded with a contemporary design by the renowned architectural offices of Tchoban Voss Architekten.

Surrounded by greenery, the project by the innovative company and its staff will offer an ideal working atmosphere, comprising 60,000 m² of office space. The central canteen, several cafés and generous green recreational areas ensure a modern campus feeling. Those arriving to work by bike or using their lunch break to exercise can use the changing rooms and showers. Plenty of charging stations for electric cars are also available.

Old building

Old bricks, new shine: successful regeneration

Built in the twenties and thirties of the past century, the Wernerwerk XV was the first multi-storey factory building to be conceived as a row construction building. Hans Hertlein, the head architect at Siemens, chose red brick for the factory façade, imparting its striking appearance. Thanks to extensive investment the ensemble is more impressive now than ever. The five to ten-storey buildings are an ideal base for all business sectors. The outstanding appearance is rounded off by a representative reception building, a modern lobby and a staff restaurant boasting the latest design trends, as well as lush landscaped outdoor recreational areas.

Office, production site or logistics: flexible usage is the top priority

Everything is possible, nothing is impossible: thanks to ceiling heights of up to 3.65 metres and the basic principle of open-plan design, tenants have the utmost flexibility. Whether classic office cubicles, open space or a combination of both – in the new buildings of the TechnoCampus Berlin there is room for big ideas. The office space in the two new buildings, comprising 20,000 m² in all, can be divided into units of between 150 m² and 1,880 m² per floor. Versatility is a given.

The new buildings, which come with green rooftop terraces and timelessly elegant materials like exposed concrete, wood surfaces and terrazzo, also boast a DGNB Gold certification and a cutting-edge environmental footprint. All the units have their own toilets, utility and server rooms as well as floor-length windows with loggia-style openings in the façade.
Location

First class connections

In the perfectly connected area between Kurfürstendamm and Tegel Airport, the TechnoCampus Berlin at Siemensdamm 62 offers an ideal infrastructure. Several busses and the underground station Siemensdamm are all within walking distance; the city motorway access road is only two minutes away, ensuring perfect connections in all directions. The site is also covered by all the main car-sharing companies. The proximity of Tegel’s Science and Technology Park, which is still in planning, will make the location even more attractive.
